Omaha, Nebraska. – Sen. Deb Fischer was inundated with town hall questions ranging from healthcare to immigration Friday and the Omaha crowd didn’t like her answers.
“I felt the senator was not entirely straight forward,” says Mary Picken. “I felt she deflected.”
“My main concerns were regarding healthcare and the situation in Washington with our president and security regarding Russia,” said Cindy Maxwell-Ostdiek.
“I think she was brushing me off,” says Nyok an immigrant from a Muslim country. “She didn’t explain enough items about the migration ban and the wall.”
And then there were those who wanted to hear about the so-called Trump-Russia connection.
“If she talked very much about what is going on with security and Russia and check and balances with the president I missed that,” adds Maxwell-Ostdiek.
