State Soccer on TV in Spanish

NEBRASKA.- For the first time ever News Channel Nebraska, in partnership with its sister stations,Telemundo Nebraska and Radio Lobo, will offer full-coverage of live Spanish-language football matches for junior high school students during the NSAA state tournament in Omaha starting Wednesday.

NCN will cover Columbus, Grand Island, Schuyler, South Sioux City, Omaha South and Lexington in the three rounds of championship games.

“NCN exists to support all high school activities, allowing our Spanish staff to cover these football games completely in Spanish, families, fans, community and fans around the world can watch their children play while Listen to coverage directly in their first language, “said Mike Flood, owner of News Channel Nebraska, Telemundo Nebraska and Radio Lobo in Omaha.

All the matches will be broadcast in Spanish coverage and televised on the NCN network in the following cities:
▪ -South Sioux City (Channel 15.1) and through DISH network on channel 35
▪ -Norfolk (Channel 35.1)
▪ Columbus (Channel 48.1)
▪ -Grand Island (Channel 30.1)
▪ -Beatrice (channel 21.1)

The games will also be streamed via the internet through and will be available on Roku for “News Channel Nebraska – Norfolk”.
